Mama - Bolton Albert Halls - Friday 4th May 2012

Hi everyone,
as ever its a busy busy world in the Genesis tribute world with gigs left right and centre.
Moonshooter are delighted to help Mama with another gig in a new venue: Albert Halls, Bolton on Friday 4th May 2012. This venue is lovely, and like many UK civic type hall settings, its a nice old building oozing memories of better times, when buildings were proper buildings.....
I know everyone on here is familiar now with the new Mama 'project' that is garnering a lot of attention...but make sure you come out and see what all the fuss is about: this is going to be a great setting for them.
I love the bootleg footage that's started to appear following the memorable launch show at Pacific Road in March....check this link out to a tantalising clip from Pac Road gig ..

What's cool about this is that it reminds me of this utterly gorgeous and equally tantalising clip from back in the Genesis day....kind of thing that got the whole UltimateSetlistLive thing going.....

Just think when we push Mama up into the 'big' hall at Bolton (and it really is big!) its gonna look just like that ..

Should be a fun night out. The venue is lovely and just the right setting for a band such as this. Looking forward to it!

Haven't been to Bolton for a while. Weather was bad here. Glad I wasn't travelling to be honest.

Good gig but beset with technical issues.
Good and very appreciative crowd in which made it all worth while
Onwards to our next gig at The Box in Crewe on May 19th
