35 years ago this weekend, I would have been 6 years old.
A bit young for 'The Lamb' tour.

Both nights in Manchester. Got tickets for the original tour, had to return them for a refund when it was cancelled after Steve cut his hand and then queue all night outside the theatre (in winter!) to make sure of getting good seats for the revised dates.

That's right, 2.00 for the best seats down to 1.20. Less than the price of an album at the time as I remember it.

I saw them in US on this tour in Dec '74 twice... once at The Academy of Music (in NYC, not that far from BROADWAY) and a few nights later at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ. Both nights were magical (second night I had fourth row, center seats). Took my girlfriend with me to both shows and some 35 plus years later, she is still my girlfriend (actually WIFE for the last 33 of those years).

And for the record, I have been officially obsessed with The Lamb ever since.

I saw 2 gigs at the Liverpool Empire, I think there were 3 in all. Never forget the Lamia for all the right reasons, but the only negative thing was that Peter got tangled up in the Slipperman costume on the first night and the intro to the Colony of ....song was memorable for its longevity, which rather spoiled the flow.

Nice thing was that they encored with The Knife on the second show I saw, which was awesome to see. That may have been the band's last British performance of that song.

Or maybe not?
