Hi there

Any suggestions for meet ups at either of these two salubrious venues?

I'll be at Salford but never been there before, so unfamiliar with the local hostelries (Or should that be hostilities? grin)

There is nothing really local to the Lowry. It's a shopping centre outlet with a cracking venue. There are a couple of restaurants/cafe/bars but no actual pubs. Parking is a little expensive and I'm planning to have some food there which means(or used to) that I can get my parking ticket stamped and get a reduction on the parking fee. Last time I went it was about 5-6 to park. The venue itself has a couple of bars. Here's a link

Birmingham was great a nice venue too, I think we are reviewing that one.
