Even though it's a 20, that's pretty big considering he's the guy of the 5 with no hits...

the wheels keep turning or throwback, just to name a couple, could very well have been hits.

Hey, Poland loves present and former Genesis members. That's why Ray Wilson is living there.

As for potential hits, I thought the two off of Still, The Gift and I Wanna Change the Score would have had a good chance if they got any airplay whatsoever. But the '90s were a difficult time, I guess.

Yes, those two songs should really had been hits. They have hit quality melody-wise, and also the latter one is sung by the successful Nik Kershaw. I love Tony's solo work, but apart from "The Gift" and "I Wanna Change the Score" a lot of his songs are simply too "quirky" and not straight-forward enough to be radio hits, I think.

However, I think the main reason why Tony never had any hits (outside of Poland) is that he was very reluctant to do any promotion. His solo press interviews and TV appearances could be easily counted ...

"The Gift" and "I Wanna Change the Score" were released in May and June 1991. As far as I view it, the music scene started to change a bit later than that. 1991 was the year of Queen, R.E.M., U 2, Guns N' Roses, Bryan Adams, Dire Straits, Simply Red. If Tony had done more personal promotion, I don't think it would have been impossible for him to get at least a quick visit in the lower half of the charts.
