simply incognito (i like it anyway but the fact it mentions Sacramento in the lyrics doesn't hurt, I bet you guys wish Mr. Banks mentioned your town!)

The Border
An Island in the Darkness
The Final Curtain
Waters of Lethe
The Gift

...probably...

...until I suddenly go "Oh, yeah, that song"...

1st 2 are definite, others could change on another day...

Angel Face
Red Day on Blue Street
Something to Live For
Don't Turn Your Back on Me
And The Wheels Keep Turning

PS: I find it interesting to see some of my least favorites being mentioned by others. I guess there's a wide range of opinions here!

would have been easier before I got the box and was reintroduced to many great songs I had forgotten about but here goes nothing in no order:

Charm
Waters of Lethe
Red Day on Blue Street
Another Murder of the day
Island in the Darkness.

In no particular order...

From The Undertow
Lorca
The Border
Lion of Symmetry
Earthlight

It's a hard choice because when you look back on the songs he's done they're actually amazingly strong; very few weak tracks.

I've chosen the ones that even after the brazilianth (a new word to describe a magnitude of Banks appeal) play, still make me take a breath and think to myself...Tony Banks! You make life less shit.

Now there's a tribute that's perfectly phrased to capture Tony’s own diffidence about his achievements! grin

Haha! It was eloquently put, wasn't it?!

Actually I've been playing along (drumming) to A Chord Too Far tonight and I've come to the decision that choosing only 5 songs is almost impossible. I only listened to disc one and after every song I just stopped short of declaring what I'd just heard as the best thing I'd heard in a long time - reason I stopped short is because the next song came along. I was playing along and smiling like a loon - these are great songs.

So five isn't enough and therefore this top 5 list may be complete rubbish. tongue

Aside from Charm which always holds top spot in my mind, everything else tends to slot in and out of the list in my mind depending on my mood and what I've heard most recently. So in the list in the here and now…

Charm
Island in the Darkness
The Spirit of Gravity
I Wanna Change the Score
Water Out of Wine

Woody
Eleventh Earl of Mar
