What songs in both Genesis and Tony's solo career do you think define his style? Which pieces do you consider to be his best work? In this thread, list what you would consider Tony's most influential pieces, be it for yourself, or from a wider fan/historical standpoint.

1. One for the Vine
2. Firth of Fifth
3. Cinema Show
4. Afterglow
5. Mad Man Moon

9. Home by the Sea/Second
10. Undertow
11. Burning Rope
12. Domino

14. Heathaze
15. Evidence of Autumn
16. In the Cage
17. Watcher of the Skies
18. Apocalypse in 9/8 solo in Supper's Ready
19. Anyway
20. Colony of Slippermen

Top 20 within solo:

1. An Island in the Darkness
2. From the Undertow
3. The Lie
4. After the Lie
5. You
6. The Waters of Lethe
7. Forever Morning
8. Water out of Wine
9. I'll Be Waiting
10. The More I Hide it
11. The Border
12. Never Let Me Know
13. Lion of Symmetry
14. Smilin' Jack Casey

another murder of a day reminds me of one for the vine (and evidence of automn, to some extent) because it has different sections and several rhythm changes.

and the chase (from 'the wicked lady') reminds of me the brazilian. i know that the former was recorded three years before, but i discovered it much later.

To add to the previously stated.

- The big mellotron sound in "The Fountain Of Salmacis"

-The piano intro in "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway"

-"Ravine"

-"Riding The Scree"

-"Unquiet Slumbers For The Sleepers..."

-"...In That Quiet Earth"
