Leeds have appointed Warnock as their new manager (no surprise there)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17084388
I know he has proven himself as a manager but I was really hoping they would have gone for someone younger. I was very keen on Lee Clark who did a fantastic job at Huddersfield but was mysteriously sacked with them 4th in Div 1. Ken Bates will always do what he wants though....

Colin's got quite a few teams promoted to the EPL but his football's usually a lot to be desired.Maybe he can take you back into the promised land like he did with Sheff Utd and QPR.
Ken Bates used to be chairman of Wigan Athletic before he went to Chelsea back in the early 80's.I'd have to check, but I think he was there when we won promotion for the first time back in '82

Warnock has got a decent track record but the way Papa Smurf keeps a tight hold of Leeds his money im not sure he'll be able to achieve much.
If we want to get back into the premiership we've got to get rid of the "selling club" tag.

Well Warnock has instilled into the team just what Grayson failed to bring which is grit, determination and getting stuck in. I've seen two matches since Warnock arrived, his first and the one just gone (West Ham) and the change is so there for all to see. I really fancy the team to make it into the play off's for next season if it's too late this time around and I'd even lay money on that very fact.

Could not believe it myself. Leeds have been playing well recently. Unthinkable to let in 7 goals at home. What makes it worse is that my dad supports Forest
Another year in Championship

I couldn't believe that scoreline when I saw it and I'm assuming it was bad defending for most of the goals?

Season goes on much longer and Leeds could have been facing relegation
Very poor indeed at the moment

After the sending off i thought it would be 2 or 3 nil quite quickly but they battled on well and had chances to score.
Will have to wait and see if the Beckford rumours are true.

Since Neil Warnock properly took over Leeds results have been 3 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses. (13 out of a possible 42 points). Leeds were still in with a chance of the play offs when he took over but finished in 14th place.
I hope in the close season he brings in some good players otherwise we will be looking for someone else
