There are pros and cons with these 5-disc slim case box sets.

On the plus side, they're generally inexpensive and an instant way to get a bunch of albums by a single artist.
I picked up Tim Buckley's first 5 albums this way, and I was happy because it included an album I had wanted for a while but hadn't been previously released on CD.

On the down side, each disc comes in its own miniaturized cardboard version of the original LP cover and that's essentially the sum total of your packaging.
The little covers are sort of cute but because everything is proportionately shrunk down to size, the lettering (listing song titles, etc.) on some of the album covers can be a bit hard to read.

It might be a good purchase for me, do you think, as a couple of these albums were recommended to me in the Steve's Vocals thread?

There's another box set of vinyl of the Charisma years 1975 to 1983 including 3 live sets. Here's an unboxing from Darren Lock. I am constantly astonished how people buy him presents and even send him money!

I have this 5-CD box. I am pleased with it. Spectral Mornings was a sonic upgrade, but it appears the version of Defector is not remastered. The other albums I only have on vinyl, but these CDs sound good to me.

I was surprised in HMV the other day to see another "Original Album Classics" type set - a different set of five albums, being,

Till We Have Faces
Guitar Noir
Darktown
To Watch the Storms
Wild Orchids
.

It's on amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Album-Collection-Discovering-Hackett/dp/B01HFPDWRK/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1474454665&sr=1-1&keywords=steve+hackett+original+album+collection

Incidentally I was equally surprised on this visit to discover that the new deluxe edition of Defector includes the Live at Reading Festival performance as a bonus disc. I guess I've been behind on the news!

I found a cheap copy of this second box on eBay.

It's a cheap way to collect the albums, but of course you don't get the bonus tracks. I guess you can sample the albums and buy the deluxe editions of the ones you like the most.

Thanks for that link.

I'm going to get Cured and Out of The Tunnel's Mouth on CD next. I actually have Cured on vinyl but haven't played it since the 80's.
