Thank you for pointing this out, Steph.
A few of them are really special. Ben Fenner is a good photographer, not only a great sound engineer, it seems !
I noticed that Steve is not wearing glasses for once.
On the other side, Nick Beggs is really looking funny. smiley
His playing isn't a joke yet, I have appreciated him in Iona already, many years ago. smiley
Hum, just 8 days before the gig in Paris... it'll seem strange after so many years here...
Cheers

Oh, yes, I remember the terrible glasses he used to wear in the early Genesis days.
But as for now, I mean, he used to wear very often some dark sunglasses in concert and also when I met him in 2003, as if bright lights hurt his eyes, except in 2006. But the Ray-Ban sunglasses were giving him a slightly strange look, I must say. Bah just not important.

A picture with Nick Beggs, in his traditional Scottish attire maybe ? That and the blonde plaits ? Hum, that must be cool ! grin

The report that one fellow forum member gave of Summer's End was pretty encouraging.. Steve's set seemed to be longer than usual, which is good, and now that we know he plays a lot of new tracks, that's great. I'm longing to hear some more of the recent songs by Steve, especially from the new album as there's not much dissonant parts in it and I much prefer his more melodic style(s), honestly.

Btw, I had this silly old idea to open a thread with our dream setlists for a concert by Steve, but well, it might well have been discussed already, and well rehearsed... rolleyes

Huh... Well, the traditional 70's/80's Ray-Ban sunglasses shape - that I used to like but that some of my relatives call "fly-eyes" - seems fashionable again, nowadays !! smiley
Yet, some rappers do wear that often here, it seems, with even bigger lenses than ever before ! (Mostly fake ones, anyway)... So I wonder if Steve wants to look like the latest hip-hop fashion victims ! grin
