Seems as if Ray is the latest victim of an internet death hoax. Thankfully that's all it is, a hoax: http://en.mediamass.net/people/ray-wilson/deathhoax.html .

The people who start these things have way too much time on their hands angry.

Well that website is rather mystifying... particularly when you see the number of "articles" about Ray from just the last few days, when Ray is hardly an A-lister celeb... huh huh huh

It's the same website that made out there were photoes of Steve and Jo's wedding in a Hello!-type magazine (not called 'Hellay!').

Of course it's going to be a hoax - those type of magazines would rather speculate about minor members of the cast of The Only Way Is Essex.

The article itself said for me that the report is false ( the hoax report, not the death report.) I clicked some of the other ray links-if you click in te leaked nudes one, it's just rediculous and looks like a prank. (The nudes are all pieces of artwork or a dog)

Very strange site indeed. A friend of mine has her email account set up to alert her to any kind of news reports about Ray and this was one of the things that was sent to her, which she passed along to me. I didn't really look very far into it to be honest so I didn't notice that the hoax itself seems to be a hoax. huh Talk about confusing! huh

Sorry about the hullabaloo, folks. I was thinking that people could have actually believed the hoax, which is why I posted it. But now that I know the hoax is a hoax...well my head is just spinning now. shocked

Amazing - first people post made-up reports of someone's death, now people are posting made-up reports about made-up reports of someone's death... Next, they'll start posting false reports suggesting that someone falsely posted that there was a death rumour which was false... grin grin grin

In some ways, maybe slightly perverse, I would regard it as a veiled compliment if you are the victim of an internet death hoax. After all it means that your celebrity status, whilst not necessarily burning brightly, is at least flickering. wink

Wow, I didn't realise Barry Chuckle of the Chuckle Brothers was such a major celebrity - he's been the victim of at least 3 internet death hoaxes so far grin
