The article isn't clear if he's thinking about In The Air Tonight AND a drum duet or if they'll just both play on ITAT but that's all the drumming he did on the First Final Farewell Tour and the Both Sides tour...

As much as I'd love to see him play more I'm fine with him wanting to concentrate on the singing.

I'm sad to see Phil apparently didn't feel he was up to drumming for these shows after all.

I wonder if Phil will be feeling up to drumming (at least on ITAT) for the possible US leg of his "selection of shows?" Hopefully he'll be at the point by then where he'll feel up to it. I was kind of sad to see he didn't do it in these shows in June, after all his talk about practicing and whatnot...

Hopefully they announce something soon! I'm up for some Phil Collins news! Last year was quite exciting for PC fans.

I'm not so sure he'll be up to it. When I saw him in Liverpool, part of me was thinking it's a Willy Wonka style act and at any moment now he was going to stand up. Even half way through ITAT I was expecting him to hobble over to the drums and that would be the big 'reveal' that it was a prank. It seemed like a pretty Phil Collins thing to do so held out, then when he didn't it dawned on me that he really is chairbound. Good to see him up for Take Me Home at Hyde Park but it's a big ask to go from that to drumming again. Here's hoping though.
