Anyone? I re-discovered them. 'Into The Labyrinth' seems to be a good album and the recent 'Anastasis' too smiley

I've been a huge fan of theirs since around the time of the Into The Labyrinth release. I found out about that album through audio circles because of the amazing sound. I've eventually picked up all of their releases and have seen them live a couple of times. Actually, on their last tour from a few years ago, it was one of the best concerts I'd ever attended. The sound was incredible, and Lisa Gerrard sounded magnificent.

The Serpent's Egg is another particular favorite of mine.

Wow, and here I thought they were too "goth" for this forum smiley
Yes, I am definitely going to purchase some of their albums now. Their music is really unique, it's hard to put them in any category at all and to name any other artist that would compare to them (except for the debut album).

They certainly fell into the "goth" category with their first couple of releases, but since Spleen and Ideal they've had much more of a "world music" vibe about them.

I bought 'Anastasis' yesterday in the CD store. I really enjoy this album, even if I have to admit some reviewers have a point when they say Dead Can Dance became slightly formulaic on this one, at least for their standards. Still a great album smiley
