What would you recommend of Brian Eno's albums? I checked some preview snippets of various albums and I fancy purchasing Ambient 4 On Land and Apollo

If you like Eno's ambient stuff these two are good examples, and I'd also add Music for Films. If you want to enjoy his more rockier albums then Another Green World is a must have album. Also check out his excellent album he made with David Byrne,My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.

Yes, I heard some snippets from Music For Films 1 & 2, sounds promising. I even made it through the whole of Thursday Afternoon! Somebody uploaded the complete album on vimeo. But it's not on the top of my list wink

I have his albums Another Green World and Before And After Science. Love them both equally. Phil Collins is playing drums on both albums on selected tracks.

Ok, I got Ambient 4: On Land and Apollo Soundtracks and I like both of them. I guess I am going to get Thursday Afternoon and Ambient 3 Day of Radiance. Even though both of these are just one-hour long loops of a preview snippet wink

Oh wait, I just heard the Harold Budd/Brian Eno collaborations. They appear to be more, well, substantial than Eno's own stuff. By any means very beautiful music. So maybe it's Ambient 2: The Plateaux of Mirror and The Pearl first...
