xx Your Personal Worst Ever Songs List Thread.
« Thread started on: Mar 28th, 2014, 8:19pm »

I've just been watching TOTP 1979 and Racey doing Some Girls which has long been on my list of worst ever songs. So I've been prompted to write a list of my most hated songs
I got as far as 17 before my brain began to melt.

What's your list. Make it as long or short as you like.

1. Angels - Robbie Williams (to be sung buy drunk young men delierately too loudly and the end of parties thinking they're funny)
2. I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston. (Imagine having that balling in your your ear in bed)
3. Everything I Do I Do For You - Bryan Adams. (3000 weeks at no.1)
4. Coward Of The County - Kenny Rodgers. ( You don't have to fight be a man .. oh but you do .. to an oom pa beat)
5. Stand By Your Man -Tammy Wynette (Be subserviant)
6. I Do I Do I Do - Abba. ( responsible for euro pop pap )
7. Some Girls - Racey ( takes 70's sexism to mind boggling heights)
8. Ride On Time - Black Box (AAAAAaaaaaaa)
9. Agado Black Lace ("Don't be boring and sit there get up on the floor and have a good time")
10. Girls Girls Girls -Motley Crue ( Wild men trying to to be wild and sing about girls and ending up a bit weedy.)
11. Fernando == Chiquitita (Chicken Tikka) - Abba (these songs just make my skin crawl)
13. When You Say Nothing At All - Keith Whitley /Ronan Keating.( or shut up sit down and look and look pretty)
14 Your Sixteen - Ringo Starr ( and I'm 33 and can't wait to get my hands on you)
15. Super Trooper - Abba. (oom pa pa oom pa pa, I don't like oom pa)
16. Macarena - Los del Ro ( will this wedding DJ ever play anything I don't feel like shooting myself to)
17. Radio Ga Ga. Queen ( I think i just shot myself )

2 of my favourites, in Billy Joel's case, IMO, his best song! smiley

REM with Kate Pierson. I simply love this song. And The Doors track is one of their best, in my humble opinion.

I've always found a bit snob to name famous songs by respected artists among the "worst songs". Getting tired of listening to them because they have been overplayed is a different thing.

If you ask me which songs I consider to be the worst, I'd say any song by Pitbull, a talentless rapper who don't deserve any respect, musically speaking.

Not being snobbish. Not judging with a critical perspective, which is why I've titled the thread PERSONAL WORST SONGS. It's just that some songs grate, annoy and / or I find offensive . Can't help it. We all have them. Never heard of Pitball, he sounds dreadful , but all on my list I have found impossible to avoid. Almost as though somebody has set about delierately to upset me. Cosmic retrabution for some past sins I am unaware of.
Don't take it too seriously . I'm interested to see what's on everyone else's list.

Brilliant. You've got both the most annoyingly over cheerful and the the most depressing songs right next to each other! I quite like them grin

Whenever these threads pop up I find there just can't be anything worse than DJ tzi and those other Ballermann Schlager dudes. You people are complaining on a high level, you don't even know how good your countries' "worst" songs are. tongue

To give you an idea:

Now beat that.
