One man's saint is another man's fool
One man's hat is another man's tool

(Seriously, I only just found out this was wrong! laugh)

That's one of my favourites. It really DOES sound like Darth Vader.

Oh, so it's not just me. I wasn't sure if it was just the Star Wars fan in me that hears that.

Seven Stones.

On this, the 40th anniversary of Elvis leaving "the building", I offer, from one of my 2 favourite Elvis songs, Suspicious Minds:

What he sings: "We're caught in a trap"

What I hear: "We're courting a tramp"

Frankly, that still works! grin

(In the Ghetto, in case anyone was wondering, though I have a soft spot for Moody Blue, if for no other reason than it led to John Lodge composing one of his best solo songs!)

Looking at my Amazon music account, I just realised that one of the earliest Genesis tracks I bought (after having only the Platinum Collection), probably close to 10 years ago, was the 16-minute final track of Three Sides Live, billed as "It/Watcher of the Skies", but of course the tracking error meant that "The Fountain of Salmacis" was included at the beginning. A bargain at 69p or whatever it was at that time!

Now that was confusing enough to me at the time, but thinking of it while listening to the track again reminded me of another "confusion" I had when listening to Phil sing Fountain...

"As the dawn creeps up the sky, the hunter caught sight of a doe
In desire for conquest, he found himself with a big lady not beheld before"
