My 2nd fav group is Jethro Tull and they are releasing, one at a time, Steven Wilson remixes of their albums, they are up to Too Old To Rock And Roll, this year it will be Songs From The Wood,
Thei consist of 2 CD's of Steven Wilson's remixed and extra tracks, and 2 DVD's/Blurays of extra material including tracks and videos.
This got me thinking, just imagine a Foxtrot 2 CD and 2 DVD box set, then Selling England, The Lamb, wow, what hidden treasures we would discover.
I guess it will never happen? Got to live in hope tho grin

phil's solo albums were reissued that way last year. the extra cd's could have been better, but i enjoyed them anyway.

We had the five box sets in 2007-2009 with remastered albums, all B-sides and lots of audio and video material as bonus. I think those boxes covered pretty much all there is - at least from the point of view of the band.

I would very much appreciate more demos (up to Abacab) and recordings from jamming sessions (from Abacab onwards). Quite a few demos from the 70s have been leaked and available as bootlegs. When it comes to jamming sessions of the 80s and 90s we have the released video recordings from the 1983 and 1991 sessions plus the "work-in-progress"-version of "Mama" as audio. More releases would be fantastic, but I highly doubt it will happen. I guess it would be quite time-consuming to listen through all tapes and identify bits and pieces that could be released.

What Genesis could do is release a live concert every other year, just like Queen does. I recently discovered they released a couple of nice concerts from 1974 and 1975.
