Have you heard Stewart's solo albums? Excellent stuff

Kinda confused why he comes under the "Citizen Cain" title?

Indeed Dave, they are very good. I think this album is very hard to get hold of now. I've only heard it once. I do have Somewhere But Yesterday and that's fantastic. I totally agree about the keyboards, Stewart Bell's playing is very Banksian in character and style. Been ages since I've played this, I'll have to dig it out again.
smiley Of all the Genesis-sounding bands around, these are one of the closest in style and sound to them. Thanks for reminding me about them smiley

I have all 6 albums with Serpents as a remastered 2 disc version.

Nice! Really enjoying these new finds! My search was prompted by your sharing Stewart Bells' Antechamber Of Being Pt.2., which is off the charts fantastic! I had never heard any of Citizen Cain's music until I researched Stewart Bell. Thanks, Ned! grin

I remember buying Raising The Stones not long after it came out and being quite disappointed in it. For me, it was almost too complex and the lack of guitar left it sounding too empty yet wordy for me. However, their earlier stuff is fantastic. I'm currently listening to Playing Dead on youtube, and this seems a definite return to form. Haven't got round to Stewart Bell's solo stuff yet, but I have heard good things about it.

Still in Hackett mood.

Earlier I played: The Night Siren
and just before I listened to: Out Of The Tunnel's Mouth

Both excellent of course wink

Still in Steve Hackett mood. smiley

Currently listening to: Beyond The Shrouded Horizon

Great stuff. Both discs are excellent, but I'd have to say I slightly prefer disc 2. Some beautiful stuff on that. cool

After 14 years and with ill health, front man Gary Brooker returns with a stunning new album for 2017!... smiley

Procol Harum - Novum. Excellent album who love that Classic/Prog rock side to their collection. Gary Brooker has not lost his touch and with well known musicians in the band from the Prog side...
