Here's where you can make a story out of a Genesis album and present it to the world. Basically, just describe the story of each song and tie them into each other. Studio, EP, Live, >2 track single, and compilation allowed. The rules are:

1. Only one [insert format here] in a story (No Ripples, then Invisible Touch, then Duke's Travels, etc.)
2. Don't change the format's order (No Afterglow, then One for the Vine, etc.)
2a. You may add songs from the end onto the beginning and vise versa as long as they are otherwise in the same order (Cinema Show, then Aisle of Plenty, then Moonlit Knight, etc.)
3. Keep it PG to PG13 (no, duh)
4. If you are out of ideas in the middle of the track listing, just try to make the end seem less abrupt.

Happy Writing!

Okay, let me try. Presenting...

And Then There Were Three: The Novel.

One day, I felt really down. Down and out, to be honest. It was like being caught within an undertow of such intense sadness that not even a ballad of big could heal, despite my attempts. It was so cold that I felt snowbound. In an attempt to warm myself, I decided to climb up a burning rope, but it only made me feel an even deeper sadness, deep in a motherlode or misery. Many too many people have felt the way I do, some even experiencing this sadness in their scenes from a night's dream. But say it's alright Joe. It'll be alright. Perhaps the lady lies. Now Joe, I want to follow you. Follow me? We'll find out if she's telling the truth or not - the truth will make me happier.

I hope it sucked as much as you expected wink I might write a longer version of that some other time, depending on whether it's worth it or not.

The air traffic controller was looking at his itinerary because he had to clear his workload before the weekend, so he could head for the beach with his multi-purpose metal container. As he looked up he could just make out where the sky met the land, when his wife called him to say his late-evening meal was waiting for him.

I remember it like it was yesterday - December '83. Manchester United over Tottenham Hotspur by two, it was. First live game to be broadcast on MotD. Oh, it was a big one, too, with all the people yelling at the refs. You shoulda seen that goal in the second half.

The telly's the only place I can see a match anymore, mate. When the sun comes up all I see from here are pigeons. Pigeons and pigeon shit, just like the way they congregate around Trafalgar Square taking pot shots at the tourists. They're everywhere!

They kill them pigeons like they killed me spirit. It's not like I can go out and live life like an ordinary bloke. I mean, I did time for a trumped up rape charge. They may say I'm free, but I can't plan ahead with the story of my conviction hanging over me and following me around ever where I go.

Yeah, I remember August 53 when I got out, but I've been a prisoner in my head ever since.

My mama died a long time ago, in a car crash, that's all I have to say about that matter.
Due to my depression I moved into a home by the sea, but it was destroyed so I built a second home by the sea. But little did I know that the things I did was illegal. People started to call me an illegal alien. I became even more depressed. I knew I was taking it all to hard, but I just didn't care.
Everybody raged when I built a new house in the city, but I said it was just a job to do because I had nothing to do.
Then in the middle of the night, a man on a silver rainbow came and said to me:
"It's gonna get better"
And it did get better.
