Apologies if this topic has already been discussed. I searched around and didn't find anything.

The Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey apparently had an in-house video-recording setup that recorded every band that came through town from the early 70s to mid 80s. This was multiple cameras, well shot. Tons of examples on youtube from bands like Rush, Grateful Dead, Talking Heads, Police, REM, even Prince. The website music vault.com has an easy to search database of the videos.

Genesis played there in 1974 and 1980. Could this be the full Lamb everyone has always wanted? It must have been recorded, right?....

If you say so. Nothing of this nature has ever been reported before. There is a soundboard recording of the Lamb show from this venue available. But no mention of video.
If the database is an easy search, what does it say?

Hi there

I would imagine that the bands in question would have had to give permission for the filming to go ahead. Either that or if the venue was filming illicitly then there would be all sorts of complications of a legal nature.
