Hi there

Interesting! Wonder if my old friend Mino profumo will mention this one in his up coming book on the early Italian tours?

I can always add a recording of such vintage to my archive Mr Kringle - do I have to start believing in you now then? wink

Hi there

Lol. Might be a tad difficult as I don't have a tree - nor a chimney either!

Hi there

Having listened to this release now I am convinced that it has been edited down which is a shame. Twilight Alehouse is immediately followed by Peter's introduction to Fountain Of Salmacis before Twilight Alehouse is played - confused? So am I. Why would anyone ruin what is otherwise an extremely enjoyable recording?!

Hi there

Which goes to prove that this has been chopped by some moron. Shame really as it is a very enjoyable recording - what there is of it.

Is your copy a CD-R Alan? I'm just wondering if a mistake has been made when burning it and somehow TA has been included twice, because of the four versions I'm aware of (one raw transfer and three remasters), which are all currently being torrented at The Movement, none of them have that problem. The last second or two of Salmacis is missing, but that's due to a cut on the master tape.

Hi there

It is a CDR downloaded from The Movement site. It won't be the first time a recording has been chopped for various nefarious reasons though sadly. Will investigate further once I have the time.

None of the versions from the Movement- which are all from the same source mind you have been "chopped". I'm betting that your problem lies with the previous posters comments. Hence why I don't go for CDRs anymore unless absolutely necessary. The digital versions are the only way to go theses days, it avoids any burn issues that might creep into the trading pool,IMO..
