Please forgive my ignorance about this but we have a CD issued on the Voiceprint label which contains the following tracks:

1. Reaper
2. Which Way The Wind Blows
3. Henry: Portraits From Tudor Times
4. Conversation Piece
5. Flamingo
6. Field Of Eternity
7. Sistine
8. Lights On The Hill
9. Last Goodbyes
10. Collections

There is no year of release & no CD jacket. I couldn't find anything about it in Wikipedia or iTunes.

That CD is a copy of The Living Room Concert - a 'live in the studio' recording which was originally recorded for the US radio show Echoes in 1993.

From your description it sounds as though you have the first pressing which was first released in May 1995 with a book of Ant's song lyrics. The CD was included in a plastic sleeve on the inside back page of the book, hence the lack of any CD jacket.

When I saw the subject I thought Ant was releasing a self-titled CD.

Of course, Peter is the only Genesis member to actually do this (4 times).

Sorry. I should have called the thread 'what is this CD'or something like that. In fact now I have found the lyric book, and should have called it The Living Room Concert.

I have another question about an Ant 7 inch single. The A side is We're All As We Lie, the B side Squirrel/Stars & Nebulous. It came out in 1978. What do people know about this? Just a single from Wise After The Event?

Yes, the A-side is from WISE, while the non-album B-side "Squirrel" was later added to CD reissues of the album. The brief "Sitars and Nebulous" (not "Stars") later popped up on PRIVATE PARTS & PIECES 2 as "Von Runkel's Yorker Music."

"Sitars and Nebulous" is really an instrumental reprise of the main theme of "We're All as We Lie". All of these tracks were on the preliminary tracklist for Wise After the Event from when it was planned to be released as an LP + EP, before they decided this was too impractial.

According to the liner notes of the 2-disc CD reissue, the original tracklist was to be:

Side 1
1. We're All as We Lie
2. Pulling Faces
3. Sitars and Nebulous
4. Squirrel
5. Wise After the Event

Side 2
1. Regrets
2. Romany's Aria
3. Moonshooter
4. Chinaman
5. Now What (Are They Doing to My Little Friends)?

EP Side 1
1. Greenhouse
2. Paperchase

EP Side 2
1. Birdsong/Tremulous/Birdsong (Reprise)

I like to listen to the album this way, with the EP squeezed between LP sides 1 and 2. Works really well!

Was it you or was it me? Or was it he or she?

NB: despite what my name may suggest, I was not born in 1972 tongue
