Due to an ongoing trend in hostility on the forum as well a libelous comments directed towards forum members, both on and off forum premises, there are new guidelines:

.) Step back and think before you post. Is what you post helpful? Truthful? Accurate? Does it promote a positive atmosphere where the online community can feel accepted?

.) Communicate only in ways that are kind and respectful.

.) Do not use this forum or other resources that violate this forum's code of conduct.

.) Using this forum or any website to defame someone or harass others is not conducive to a safe web environment. Anyone that decides to use this forum as a means to coerce and harass other members will be subject to removal.

.) Your actions on the forum have an impact on others. When people feel they are in a hostile environment, they will become avoidant or will respond with aggression. Worse, it might cause other emotional issues such as withdrawing from other activities at work or withdrawing from others. Before responding with emotion, practice mindfulness and step away from the computer and then return back when you can write a post in a positive fashion.

.) Threads that discuss topics that are strewn with libelous comments or are threatening/harassing to other forum members will be locked.

.) Those that refuse to follow the guidelines above will be subject to stricter forum behavior management strategies, including removal.
