Do you have personal Band Histories with you ?

Hello, everybody, I didn't found a similar topic, so want to open this up.
I would like to know if anyone from here took a photo with someone from Genesis or related, or spoke to someone, or someone has got signed something from Mike and Co, I think you know what I mean ?
I was visiting the Mechanics in Karlsruhe on 3th June with a good friend of mine. At home, I wrote a message attached on a plush chicken for Mr.Rutherford. I wrote things about Genesis, the Mechanics, their last visit in my Hometown when Paul Young died, yeah. At the end of the Show, I ran to the front, and threw the chicken on the stage...
I told the roadie to give this chicken to Mike. While that, 2 roadies gave me
1.Mike's Guitar Pick 2. Gary Wallis' broken drumstick
I thought It couldn't get better, but then... ONE HOUR LATER...
I Met Tim Howar and the one and the only Mike Rutherford, who also signed my Stuttgart 2007 Encore.
I asked for Photos they, all agreed. Oh my God, look all the time i was watching Genesis on the TV or Computer Screen, but never live. And now at least, I saw now Mike Rutherford, In the Moment I took my arm and laid it down on his holy shoulder, I was saying "WOOW, THIS IS IT". For sure, even my friend took a photo with him and Tim Howar.
Yeah also I got a photo with Tim Howar.
Before I forgot, the most funny part :
I asked Mike if he received my plush chicken with the message, he answered : Yes but First I thought it was a duck... I'll read it tommorow". And thats something I will never forget, and the interesting is :
A few days later they played in Hamburg and a fan wrote in the German Fanclub forum, that my chicken was all on the time sitting on the Soundboard
Normally I thought Mike would just put this chicken in front of the stage like Phil is doing that with his cat in front of his drums, but hey, also nice
I don't know If my chicken laid down, down down down, on the other concerts then or before.
Here are the photos

Does anyone here also have some Genesis Stories? Well it mustn't be a Genesis Concert, but someone from Genesis for sure ?

Hi there
I suppose after 24 years running TWR amd a further ten running The Pavilion (Ant Phillips' fan club), you could say I have some "history" with the band... and you can read all about it on the TWR web site

Met Ant Phillips and John Mahew (RIP John ) at the UK convention in May 2006. I met Steve Hackett's then missus Kim Poor at the Twickenham gig 2007. I very nearly met Phil after the Twickenham gig in 2007. He had to jump back into the people mover after chatting with Ulli up the street from us. He gave us a huge wave though, as did Mike why came past with Angie a short time later in their Range Rover. Great memories of a couple of great trips to England.

I unexpectedly ran into Phil at Disneyland back in 1988. I said hello and he stopped for a moment to shake hands and say hello before running off to catch up with his wife and guide, who didn't notice he had stopped to talk to me.
Saw him again in 2004 after taping an interview for XM Radio. Just a quick hello and handshake again.

I literally bumped into Mike Rutherford once in Horsham whilst shopping, we both came round the same corner at the same time in opposite directions and collided I was too gobsmacked to say anything other than 'sorry'. Now I come to think of it I'm not sure he apologised to me .... how rude
I went to Steve's wedding with Ant .... does that count?

Hi there
Biggest thrill I suppose has to be having Ant and his Argentinian friend, Quique Berro Garcia perform an acoustic performance in Ant's living room for an audience of one - me! Oh, that and playing cricket for Ant's cricket team; The Send Occasionals, what a day that was!

Wow, how did you pull that one off? Were you dating Ant or are you just friends with him?

And I consider you a friend Miss Mouse, which makes me even luckier than you!
I met the late John Mayhew at the Glasgow Convention, spent time talking to Mr & Mrs Stuermer when I walked into them on a Berlin street during the 07 Tour, (shaking like a wee laddie I was lol).
I have had the pleasure of meeting Steve on a few occassions best of which was an invite to end of tour drinks backstage at Leamington Spa, arranged by a certain Ms Kennedy ,
They say you should never meet your heroes but I found Steve and Daryl to be the gentlemen I always imagined they were.
