Hi there

Managed to take in several shows on that tour - difficult to believe it is over seven years ago - where has that time gone?

Stuffed if I know sad I can remember the six-hour train journey from Warsaw to Berlin, checking into the cheapest hotel I could find, then getting the subway to the stadium. Berlin's subway is quite big, and I was some way from the stadium. After a couple of line changes, I finally got to the last part of the journey. Still fretting if I was even in the right part of the city, the train came along, with the destination on the front of it. This was simply "Genesis" and I got some funny looks with my "YES!"
After the gig, feeling melancholy because I felt certain it was the last time I'd see them live, I left the stadium and went for a pizza. At the first place I came across, I pushed the door and a bloody mouse scurried across the doorway right in front of me.
Funny the little details that stick in the memory...

Shame it wasn't a bakers shop rolleyes

Great memories and as I wrote above I would never be happier if I was proved wrong about them playing again.

On the 18th of this month, it will be 7 years for myself since I LAST saw them -- those memorable 3 straight nights in Philly. I thought the 2nd gig was the best. I vividly recall the chills up my spine as I was seeing them live for the first time since '92.

Seven years ago today I saw them in Hartford. The two most memorable moments... when Phil took a cell phone from someone in the audience and sang into it; and when the guy in front of me turned around after the end of Los Endos and breathlessly said to me... "That was BIG." smiley

The 18th was the first night in Philly. I had the chills going up my spine too, as I was seeing them live for the first time since the 16th. grin But before that it had been 25 years!

Hi there

Just under two weeks to go until 6th June and the eighth anniversary of my trip to Brussels for the final dress rehearsal for the tour. Where has that time gone eh?

Sadly, from a NEW Scientist article in 1976, which has never been contradicted, a time machine, if ever invented, will only allow transport forward from the moment it is switched on, as it would work by distorting time (the time dilation principle) and so can only move you through time it can distort. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! sad
