I'm depressed now John.

It hadn't really occurred to me that SEVEN years have already passed since that tour.

Still "never say never"!!
I remember the evening before the first show I saw on that tour. I was in Hamburg. I never thought I would have that "tomorrow is a Genesis concert" feeling inside me again and there I was, about to see them.

And between my 7th and 14th Birthdays...... wink

Both great ground breaking albums in my opinion matey but then again I am one of the annoying folk who love it all.

Rael.

Sadly I believe that the chance of them appearing on stage together in any form has gone....But I would give me eye teeth to be proved wrong rolleyes

Best wishes

I still remember waking up early here in the States to watch the webcast of the Turn it on Again Tour announcement. After that it was off to the message boards to discuss the tour dates with other fans.

7 years, how time flies....

You may well be right.
But I'm pretty sure there will be an opportunity to see Phil live next year and there is a new Pink Floyd album out in October. Now who saw any of that coming six months ago shocked

Seven years ago - what a fantastic weekend!

Watched Genesis on TV open the charity show at Wembley before driving to Manchester for the Old Trafford show. Stayed overnight in Manchester, drove home, watched a F1 race on telly then got the train to Twickenham for the show there before getting a very late train home.

What a weekend grin

We stayed some sort Fawlty Towers equivalent hotel in Salford. It was a great show . Set list was spot on. Brilliant atmosphere. A life highlight for me. A pity it was in July though. The show would have been even better if it gotten dark earlier. I would have liked to have seen the show in the dark, which didn't happen till too near the end. I think some of the effects were wasted in the light.

Hi there

Managed to take in several shows on that tour - difficult to believe it is over seven years ago - where has that time gone?
