A year ago this week!

It doesn't seem possible but it was a year ago tomorrow we all set off for Genesis Marathon week-end!
Remember?
Face Value at the Limelight on the Friday night the 6th
Genesis at Old Trafford on Saturday the 7th
then down to Putney for GITC at the Half Moon followed by
Genesis at Twickenham on the Sunday the 8th!
What a week-end! 
Of course, this also brings back memories of Dad going into hospital which was on the Monday, a year ago on Wednesday 
Mixed emotions that will live with me forever but I'll always be grateful to Dad for holding on to go into hospital so that I could see my beloved boys!  Bless him

Wow what a weekend!
- You were lucky to get tickets for both events! Your dad would have been pleased!!
Did they also play Live Earth on the same day as Manchester? - Apparantely there were still tickets left for that one - I could've gone!!

Yeah, forgot about that one because I didn't go to it!
I was lucky to belong to the forum which helped us all to get decent tickets
You should have seen me celebrating at school when the boys secured the tickets in the November - the kids kept saying, 'Mrs Heather's excited!!' And I was!!

what a cracking weekend , friday face value ,then to follow ,the bishops blaise, then old trafford,then knackered ,whilst some younger and fitter buggers carried on in greater london ,

Yep! In my top 3 best weekends of my life
Remember driving back from Old Trafford overnight, blasting Seconds Out, grabbing a few hours kip and then doing it all again on the Sunday!
Still can't believe we did all 4 gigs  
That weekend changed my life in so many ways, met lots of wonderful people for the first time
