Given that it was likely their last tour, Fading Lights would have been great. I also would have loved the full Cinema Show. The documentary shows they at least considered this.

I have to respectfully disagree. As a fan since the early 80's, finally seeing Carpet Crawlers in person was incredible.

Back to the question. I would have liked to hear a multitude of songs not played, but if I had to pick just one it would be Heathaze.(Which had no shot of making the cut.)

Dance On A Volcano or Squonk (would it be greedy to ask for both? cheesy)
Entangled (but expected it would be either this or Ripples, which we got)
In That Quiet Earth
Supper's Ready (at least from Apocalypse on)

However, I wouldn't have wanted anything taken out of the set. Is it too much to ask for 3 hours of music? grin

There were a few songs I would've liked to hear that weren't there.

First off, I didn't feel the pre-1973 period got enough representation. (well, it didn't get ANY. That's as far back as they went.) To remedy that realistically, I would've liked to hear the closing section of Musical Box. I also thought it would have been quite amazing to see The Knife!!! That would do the trick!

Otherwise I felt they could have dropped either Home By The Sea or Domino and put in two songs in its place, perhaps:

-Abacab (to give that album some representation)
-In Too Deep (I know, I know, but I actually kind of like this song, and I felt it odd for the pacing that there was only ONE true "slow" song, Hold On My Heart.)

I know Domino and Home...are great stage songs, but let's face it they're not that well known...And of course I'd favor two songs instead of one.

Although the only song I REALLY would have wanted to see is Abacab.

ICD did work pretty well as an encore, but Abacab would have been better if they could've pulled it off.

Full Squonk or Dance would have been nice.

FULL CINEMA SHOW would have been awesome.

ENTANGLED

WHITE MOUNTAIN (!)

Another obscure track that they haven't done live in a while or ever like BOTR, Chamber of 32 Doors, It, The Lamia.

One for the Vine!

The Lady Lies

Battle of Epping Forest (!)

DWTMK/Musical Box medley -- so sad they only did that once, but at least there's a great recording of it.

FOUNTAIN of Salmacis.

Keep It Dark.

Sarah Jane

Dodo would have been nice too.

Too true. I was amazed how good it was when I heard it knowing that they never attempted it again! It truely is a fantastic recording. If others have not heard it, it's from the 1978 Chicago show - there is a TM remaster of it on the Movement. Very nice show cool

I thought more this morning...

And I decided I'd have been willing to trade out the Cage medley for the whole of Supper's Ready...

Also, I would have enjoyed seeing the whole of Cinema Show in place of Home By The Sea...
