Newcastle - but I wouldn'tve really had time to make a weekend of it!
But if I'd known you were travelling down - you could've made a detour to pick me up on route! Ha! cheesy
Actually, I would have done so if we had thought of it earlier.
But did mention on this forum a few months ago that I was going.......

Aargh!!! I did know a few people were going - but I just assumed they were all from down South (like Choccy)!

Nevermind - maybe Tony will do something similar again - maybe up North this time! smiley

I'm not surprised, it was bloody boiling hot in the Town Hall that night.
What you cant see from my photo is that I am wearing long denim shorts!
(yes, I am wearing a Muppets T-shirt!)

Is that Ernie on your shirt? I'd have thought that a Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem shirt would be more appropriate... though I've never actually seen one. That explains why I do not own such a shirt. wink

Yes it is Ernie with a guitar!
I also have one with Electric Mayhem, I was wearing it the night I met Anneke Van Giersbergen (formerly of The Gathering).

By the way, did anyone notice that the Cheltenham Festival Brochure cover for this year's festival looks curiously derivative of the Wind & Wuthering cover:

It certainly seems less than coincidental. smiley

Newbie bringing this thread forward a bit but at any rate, does anyone know if Tony's piece is going to be released either as an upload or something? Audio? Video?

I would love to have been there to see this piece performed live. I would also love to be able to hear it as well.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

You will want to check out this whole interview, but in answer to your question, check out the last interview question first.

I'm very happy to see and hear this. Gorgeous work. I hope an official version of it comes out soon. Harmonically rich, and has some shades of Ravel in it, also reminiscent of City of Gold, Black Down, and a bit of Spring Tide/Spirit of Gravity.
