Been listening to "Steve" albums while eagerly awaiting his Portsmouth gig on 8 May. Out of the Tunnel's Mouth is a fine album.

His riffs on Fire on the Moon are exquisite - well written and played as only Steve can do. This is not to detract from his copious back catalogue - it's just where I am today.

Thank you Steve.

cool

Does this include guitar riffs from Genesis songs, or only solo material?

Well I was just thinking of his solo material because of his current tour but it's always nice to be reminded of the very best of Steve Hackett.

Today I'm re familiarising with Wolflight. Dust and dreams has some interesting guitar work by Steve. I just love this stuff. I must go back to his earlier albums next. It's great when you've not listened for a while.........

The great solo guitar moments that come to mind for me are on songs like:

Ace Of Wands
Shadow Of The Hierophant
Everyday
Spectral Mornings

I not as familiar with later Hackett albums, so there are probably great guitar moments that I'm missing from then.
