xx Albums with lead vocals by all band members
« Thread started on: Sep 11th, 2014, 08:52am »

What albums by rock bands can you think of where every member of the band sings at least one lead vocal?

Here's what I've come up with:

multiple Beatles albums
The Who - A QUICK ONE
Cream - DISRAELI GEARS
Pink Floyd - A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS (this one's especially unusual in that it encompasses two lineups, i.e., Barrett & post-Barrett)

(BTW, spoken vocals don't count.)

Nope, I had that in my post before editing!

Didn't think of the Eagles, but found these:
The Eagles
Desperado
One of These Nights

...and possibly Long Road Out Of Eden?

Does CSN/CSNY really count as a "band"? I'm thinking of "band" as in "bass player & drummer included."

Seems like it might be true of one or more of their albums.

Thought of another:
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Mardi Gras

Ah, yes, "Miss Gradenko." I think it's great, even though AMG emphatically calls it "awful." I always thought it was Sting singing this until recently. (Isn't he actually singing at least part of it?)

Kiss may have done the "all members singing" thing, I think after their notorious solo-albums project.

Monkees? Sure, what the heck.

Thought of another one:
Wings - Wings at the Speed of Sound

The Sweet, no, Mick Tucker never sang, though he speaks at the start of hellraiser.
