For me... Floyd by a comfortable margin.

+1, miles better than the others listed here.

Although, I always feel a bit odd calling Pink Floyd a "classic progressive rock band". To me, they're really quite different from the rest of these bands and don't seem to follow many of the classic prog tropes.

Was it you or was it me? Or was it he or she?

NB: despite what my name may suggest, I was not born in 1972 tongue

I would consider them to still be prog, but to a lesser extent than the others. Songs like "Echoes", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", and "Dogs" are good examples of this.

I saw the Moody Blues twice so it has to be them followed by Pink Floyd, ELP & Rush (the last two are my husband's favourites). I have seen Jethro Tull once (in recent years admittedly).

About another 10 times, and you'll equal me! grin

From memory, 31 Oct 1979, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1991 (twice), 1993, 1997, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2010.

I gave up then as the setlist has sort of become set in stone, it would be nice to see a few new inclusions.

"One wish?"
"Yes, one" said the genie.
"Simple! I'll have the musical talent of Steve Hackett" I replied!
