Sad to hear of Greg Lake's passing, he was very much part of my musical scenery as a teenager and I saw him with ELP at Hammersmith Odeon in December 1972 when the band were promoting the Trilogy album, gig was introduced by the late, great Alan 'Fluff' Freeman (Not 'Arf!). Greg was such a massive part of one of the most iconic albums of all time, In The Court of the Crimson King, for me one of his finest moments - just turn up 21st Century Schizoid Man and listen to that bass playing, incredible stuff. Always loved the first ELP album too, Greg's vocals on Take A Pebble are glorious. Another hero of the golden age gone. R.I.P. Greg.
