Cinema Show is just bloody outrageously, deliciously brilliant! I love it!! grin

I've been playing it in the car this week and it is indeed, ace.

I'm not sure I'll play it that often as I generally prefer the original versions of the songs but it's interesting to hear a different guitar solo in "Touch My Heaven" for example.

The title track (which is on Retropolis) is an absolutely outstanding track.

I know what you mean! Even though i've only been into TFK for a short time really, i caught myself thinking on some of the tracks, this is great but the originals better!
Like i've known the originals for so long! rolleyes
Well it feels like they're in my soul now anyway! smiley

I got a chance to read Roine Stolt's preface to the album today and it is very interesting. The album has been put together to suit newbies and the more fanatical fans who, like Nov, have a fuller familiarity with the albums. I would have preferred to be coming from that angle, but I saw it in the shops and couldn't help myself (No DE ref required ! grin)

Can't wait to listen to Cinema Show in particular.

Wow! You saw it in the shops shocked

That's a good sign as far as I'm concerned (i.e that they are getting better distribution and better known).

Which shop?

- This is where you tell me it was a little dusty shop called "Progressive Rock 4 Nerds" or something grin

Yeah, last Saturday, after picking Mal and Hummy up from Manchester airport, Col, his mate Kev, Jean, Mal , Hummy and myself went for breakfast in The Trafford Centre and to recover from the previous nights craziness at Crewe! Killing some time in HMV in there, i was pleasantly suprised to find not only a TFK bit, but also The Road Back Home and the Meet The Flower Kings CD in it! shocked

So there you go ......... grin

I have seen the odd Flower Kings album in HMV in Liverpool. Last time I saw one it was Adam & Eve, and they've had Unfold The Future too.

Well, today I played something not played for quite some time - Paradox Hotel.

Got to say it sounded bloody fantastic! shocked wink grin

(Oh, and I also had to watch disc 1 of 'Meet The Flower Kings', naughty boy that I am!)

Ooo....that's good.

I do believe that Nikki hasn't heard their 2 albums yet.

I confidently predict that when she does, they will blow her socks, and the rest of her attire, clean off!!

Would you like a selection CD Nikki?
