'The decent nursey thing', obviously a technical term there, far beyond our comprehension. Does it involve a giant pair of tweezers and copious amounts of blood?
And if it does, can I watch next time?
(Sorry Nov, just practicing for my role as chief vampire in the local stage production of 'Little House On The Prairie'. grin

Carl

Can you please change the name of this thread to something like "The Flower Kings Appreciation Thread" in case people don't recognise "TFK"?

We might not be drawing people in who are inquisitive of the band but don't realise who it's about.

As you were saying a while ago, maybe when the new album comes out, we ought to start a new thread but ask Krissy if this one can be archived somehow.

Cheers

Nov

Well, Mr Hackett has been getting some airplay this last couple of days too. And I would say he is very promising indeed! He would fit in nicely with that band called Genesis, don't you think? wink

Most definitely Nov. It's Tomas Bodin at his supreme best. The album is laid back symphonic prog that is all instrumental and very easy to the ear.

The more I hear of this guy, the more I love his music.
Turn off the lights and relax in prog heaven music cool
This is not like The Flower Kings though smiley and full credit to the band for changing tempo and creating this very good album.

I was wondering what this was like. I have tried to download snippets but, as usual, no luck on this old pc. So I have to rely on verbal description. So, Colin, what's it like? grin
Any comparisons coming to mind?

Oh, I did pm you yesterday. Hope you got it ok. smiley

Ok, ok, forget my last post. I've just seen this one!
I rate Tomas Bodin very highly, and I think his contributions to TFK are very important. This album sounds very much my type of thing.
Who are the other musicians on the album? Is it the usual suspects, his TFK band mates, or does he use other musicians? Sometimes, going by the names these chaps use for themselves, you can never tell! rolleyes

Carl, it's not like TFK's but the diversity of their musicianship really shines with this album.
It's a very slow tempo throughout.
Some more words above your last post.

Glad to like the earth band stuff. Let me know when you're ready to explore some more. smiley
