Sorry I never got "Garden of Dreams" off to you like I said I would try to do. I've been a bit busy with my gigs, work, family, blah, blah, blah so didn't get around to it.

Perhaps it's better that you just wait to hear it on "Flower Power" in all it's glory.

I've just watched this again: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoID=2033781295

I love the face Zoltan pulls when he nails the drum intro grin

How great it is to have a band producing music like this in 2007. We are very lucky to have them wink

Have you seem the Flower Kings Myspace page?

It feels wonderful! I would just like to thank my family for believing in me, and my fans for their continued adoration, and my colleagues for recognising my true station in life etc, etc...(bends and picks up the flowers strewn at his feet in his honour) cry Thank you all!

Personally, I think it's the wrong way round, and should spell - d o g grin

Your continued applause is music to my ears. cheesy

Let us also not forget Kaipa's back catalogue cool

User Image

Anyone heard of Opus Atlantica, another of Jonas Reingold's side projects?

This time he teams up again with vocalist Pete Sandberg (they recorded an album as Sand and Gold back in 1997), Johan Reinholdz on guitar and ex-Flower Jaime Salazar on drums. The music is melodic power metal. It's a little too up tempo for me, but certainly has some epic moments.

Click here to listen to a couple of Opus Atlantica audio samples - first click on Pete's image, then click on PANDEMONIUM - http://petesandberg.rules.it/

Check out Reingold's website for lots of great info on his recording career. http://www.jonasreingold.com/m1/index.php

I believe the scary one you're referring to is Pete Sandberg, but here he is with Jonas in 1997 during their Sand and Gold days.

Midnight Sun sound similar to Deep Purple. Heavy, but nice; very tight playing.

I've already commented on this in the other forum.
I like the pic of you in 'Gildenlow' pose - guitar round your neck, keyboard in front of you, glasses on - just need a long, dark-haired wig to complete the effect!

I wonder if any member, past or present, of TFK ever rests, ever? I think they are robots, programmed to go on forever; has anyone ever seen any of them sleeping?
Maybe they all live together in a 'Big Brother' type house, and their respective families are only allowed to visit them on special occasions.
I remember reading on the 'Garden Of Dreams' website that Hasse Froberg - the only member who isn't (or wasn't at the time) a professional, who held down a job at Stockholm airport - performed many nights with various bands and probably toured more than all the other members of TFK put together!
That is hard to believe, yet it's probably true! shocked
