I know EXACTLY what you mean about the end of "Monsters and Men". You expect another chord there but I think it must be a ploy that groups sometimes use at the end of songs. There are other examples but I can't think of any just at the moment.

I felt young once, many, many years ago.

Marx and Engels were quite jealous in fact! wink

None probably, looks like there's only me and the tumbleweeds around at the moment. cry

It's ok, Nov, I understand. Nikki is fleeing the country to get away from me, and you are spending your tokens in preference to indulging in some intelligent and witty musical banter with yours truly. cry
But then again, I'm just a 'cold, jealous boy'. Hee hee.

Gosh! When you say birthday tokens, are you hinting it's your birthday today? Or recently anyway? If so I apologise as I didn't know. Let's know when it is (was) and I will congratulate you! cheesy

Now that was really unfair!
How could you give me that snippet with the blinding guitar just fading off into the distance! Agghhh!
That sounds bloody amazing! Really brilliant!
Can't wait to hear the whole thing!!! cheesy

See? I knew you'd be teased and tantalised by 'snippets' of maybe the greatest prog epic ever - and yes, I know that's a bold statement, but it could be!

Anyway, you run along now, wild child, and if Hasse and co should knock on your door while you are away, well, don't worry about it. You just enjoy yourself.
Now get to bed! (Doctor's orders.)

Probably a good cd to get to know about this band. smiley

Not yet Colin, but I will definitely be getting it! I want to hear the new mixes, and TFK's take on 'The Cinema Show'. I also want to get their first compilation, 'Scanning The Greenhouse'. I have all those tracks, but it's the only FK album I don't have. Usually I am not a completist, but in this case...

I have ordered the dvd 'Meet The Flower Kings' though. That should arrive next week. Can't wait for that either.
I have the 2cd live set, and that's amazing. TFK really are my second favourite band of all time, just behind Genesis.
(And I mean just as well. Not much in it to be honest.) smiley
