Very cool. cool

Although... I hope it's not too much of a departure into the dark. Part of why TFK are so dear to my heart is their tendency towards bright or joyous themes.

Still, this is exciting news. Thanks for sharing!

It is cool how this one is going to be a collection of shorter songs. Shades of Retropolis, Space Revolver, Rainmaker...

Man, just thinking about those albums brings back good memories. I need to go listen to them again. smiley

Retropolis eh? I might have to dig that one out, dust it off and listen to it again then.

Currently listening to Banks Of Eden/The Sum Of No Evil.

As with all TFK albums, the more you listen to them, the more you enjoy them! cool

Let's not forget, the 20th Anniversary of TFK isn't far away either. Apparently, there will be lots going on for it. Could be interesting. smiley

I am purposefully avoiding any snippets from the new album. I want to hear it fresh and virginal at home when I get it. Call me old fashioned...no, please, call me old fashioned! grin

I hate to be the party pooper here, but I feel it's time they brought someone new on board who has fresh ideas. This sampler sounds like so many other TFK albums. The first word that popped into my head was 'boring.' I guess I'm spoiled by all the great stuff this band has already produced, but I do feel that much of their best music was done during the time that Zoltan Csorsz was on drums and Hasse Bruniusson on percussion. Daniel Gildenlow has also been a gift to this band in the past. Ever since Hasse Froberg's Musical Companion released their last album, I knew I'd had it with his vocals. He's lost his ability to sing loud and at high octaves. He just screams and loses control. I want to hear more of Tomas' amazing keyboards and less of Hasse Froberg's vocals. Maybe an instrumental TFK album is what I crave. Who knows?.... tongue
