What about the spaces between each song? grin

I find them a little quiet but they're tastefully done

I find the spaces between the songs rather long to be honest. I wish they'd prune them down to size a bit. You could never say their songs are too long now, could you? grin

My walkman has not been updated so listened to Space Revolver while gardening.

Enjoyed I am the sun, rumblefish twist and monster within - some inspiring playing.

Only got about half way through.

Hi Fraser,

You know that this kind of music requires repeated listens for the themes and beauty to come through and really cannot be written off after one play through.

I couldn't stand Close To The Edge on first listen and even Second's Out took me several listens to appreciate how awesome it was (back in 1977).

Anyway, all I'm saying is give it a few more goes - maybe in the car is best and then come back to us wink

Please don't let it out you off going to see them on 24th September as it's always a different proposition in a live context.

Cheers matey and see you soon

No probs mate, as I said in my previous post - perfectly aware that TFK albums take some effort. The second listen had me a little more interested. Third listen had me looking out for several parts. Love the part of track two when the melody kicks in - about 30 seconds in. Now on my fourth listen (ok, I'm a busy person and time is precious!), now I'm in the place I rememeber back in 2007 trying to get to grips with Paradox Hotel during the Genesis Turn It On Again tour.

Oh happy days! grin

Thoroughly enjoying Banks of Eden (1 CD version) from the start to the end. Not sure if I have said that of any other TFK release.

Numbers is a thing of beauty and the shorter tracks are all wonderful.

Best album I've heard by anyone in ages I think cool

Probably the same for me (don't tell Nov cheesy) only other album I've had recently is Clockwork Angels and I'm still trying to get my head round that.

That's great Fraser.

Heather is up for it as well so there'll be a few of us there at least.

I'm really hoping that Nikki and Oz decide to go as well wink
