If that is the case then I apologise for my unimpressed response.

I'm not sure how I'm going to acquire it yet. I'm almost afraid to hear it because I don't want to be non-plussed like I was with TSONE.

This time Ant DOES fall through the floor. Most extraordinary thing I have ever read (apart from the Bible)

You can purchase BOE without any reservations, Jon. The album is a pure delight. Lots of new twists and turns, but with the signature TFK/Roine trademarks. Highly recommend you purchase the 2-disc digipak. The second disk has 4 bonus tracks that run about 22 minutes total. Between both discs, you get over 75 minutes of new music. Very nice indeed! cool

a) Where I'm buying Banks of Eden from.

or

b) That I didn't like TSONE much.

Thanks for that David

I'm definitely going to get it but just not sure where from yet. In fact, it's my Birthday in a couple of weeks so I'll put it on the list wink

Thanks for the clarification Nov. I feel better now. Surprised Roine hasn't sent you an advance copy.

Must admit I have gone for the single disc. Gone off bonus discs a bit. Quality over quantity?

Poor TSONE... cry

I feel a bit like the black sheep of TFK fans, with Sum of No Evil being my favorite. laugh But strangely, if pressed to choose what I thought was their "best" work, it would be Unfold the Future -- truly epic and wonderful stuff. smiley

The new disc sounds promising. I was only half-awake by the time I got home last night, so I wasn't in the best frame of mind to listen to the opening epic Numbers, but I liked what I heard. wink

Yes, but with TFK the bonus disc is all new compositions. Most bands release crap on their bonus discs, but not TFK.

Well said that man! TFK's bonus material is almost always new and worth listening to, unlike other bands who release edited versions of existing songs, or half finished demos of dubious quality, or a couple of live tracks which, imo, always sound better on dedicated live albums, not tagged on to a studio release.

On my second listen to disc 1 now. Still too early to give any sort of informed opinion, but fans of the band needn't fear that it's a turkey. It's rather excellent.

Nov! Very surprised you don't have it yet. Thought you'd have been sitting in the studio as the band recorded it! wink

Think this will be number one on my playlist for quite some time. cool
