Actually, it would be interesting to work out how many different people have posted in this thread.

I suspect it would be nearer 50 wink

Strange how every time there has been a "list your favourite bands apart from Genesis" thread, Pink Floyd, Yes and The Beatles - to name just three - have all been far more popular than The Flower Kings. wink

Yes, but none of them have a thread as long as this which just goes to prove that Flower Kings fans are far more passionate about their band grin

WOW ! Had we known TFK is still this
popular we may have come out of our exile earlier. Good thing is -
we can order more CD's.

Ever the modest chap, our Roine. I'm sure all the members of the band have had comments passed to them over recent years to the effect of: when is the next TFK album coming out? The natives are getting restless!

Of course, it's always nice to have it confirmed in black and white that you're still popular! wink

Well, we've always predicted that one day (and it might not even be in our lifetime) TFK will become legendary and their genius will finally be properly recognised in the milllions rather then the thousands.

I do think that during the TFK hiatus, their reputation has spread far and wide on the internet and they are certainly one of the most recognised names in modern prog around the world.

I just wish that this would translate to them being able to be completely comfortable financially and for them all to be able to do it full-time, playing bigger, sold out venues.

Hi Nov!
Roine should recognise your sterling work in spreading TFK's music wink

The new TFK album leaves me completely cold, I'm sorry to say, but Hasse Froberg & Musical Companion's Powerplay and even Agents of Mercy's The Black Forest push all the right buttons for me.
