Nov, you were the catalyst for my being introduced to the re-emergence of prog rock in the 21st century. For that, I owe you an immense debt of gratitude.

Yes, it was Spock's Beard you turned me onto at the time, and then TFK. Everything else just blossomed from there.

Outside of my faith in God and the love of my wife and family, my love for great music is what guides me through each day.

I tip my hat to you, kind sir, for giving me hope at a time when I thought that prog had died forever wink

Thanks so much David.

One of my great pleasures in life is introducing people to the music that I love and them responding as positively to it as you have smiley

When TFK come back in a blaze of glory ("The Second Coming of TFK") and are selling out arenas with a light show to match the Invisible Touch tour - that's when I'll be asking Roine for my 10% grin

After Roine's BIG hints in the press and on FB lately, I've been listening to the whole collection again grin

I'd forgotten how good Flowerpower & Paradox Hotel are and how big a contribution Roine obviously makes to Transatlantic smiley

Am I correct in saying that you haven't seen TK yet Oz?

I can't wait for us all to get together at a Flower Kings gig when they eventually get it together again.

One suspects that Roine keeps himself so fit and healthy, he'll be around a good 20 or more years yet... cheesy

I wonder if Nov or anyone has joined the Flower Kings group on Facebook. If so, there are a couple of very old, very interesting black and white photos of a band called Magma from 1971 - including Roine on guitar.
Amazing how he was only 14 or 15 at the time, yet you can instantly recognise him!

I was thinking about the next Flower Kings album. I rather hope it's a double, seeing as we've had a long time to wait for it. Also, it would be nice if there was a special edition, with a bonus disc, a bit like Transatlantic released with The Whirlwind. That would make three discs in all. That would certainly keep me going for a month or two... grin

Finally done it, listened to all 181 TFK trax on my iPod grin

Weird thing is my iPod has switched discs 1 & 2 of 'Unfold The Future' so the 181st track was Vox Humana, a very fitting finale smiley

Yep, you're right Nov. I was 'caught in desert lands' when they played last time so I'm still a virgin embarassed

Earlier I dug out and played Hasse Froberg's superb album, Future Past. If his next release is anywhere near as good, I'll be more than satisfied. After that, maybe the band will get together again for the next TFK album... wink
