Stunning!!

Really surprised Nikki hasn't spoken of this yet! shocked

It's fabulous, isn't it Colin? I too am surprised Nikki hasn't mentioned it yet. Maybe she's gone off him now and prefers James Blunt...or Justin Bieber... undecided

(If that doesn't bring her running here throwing a tantrum, I don't know what will!) grin

Yes!

Now where has that girl got to?

I blame it on Oz - she was on here all the time before he worked his charms grin

I've just seen this on one of the other prog forums - looks like a new DVD release!! Woohoo!!

Set list for The FlowerKings at De Boerdereij Zoetermeer Netherlands Nov 17 2007.

Set One:
Love Is The Only Answer
There Is More To This World
Retropolis - feat. Bass Solo/avanti jam
Trading My Soul
Hudson River Sirens Call ( Ummagumma spiced)
I Am The Sun

Set Two:
Life In Motion
Flight 999
Babylon
Stardust We Are
What If God Is Alone
encore:
Blade Of Cain
Sum Of No Reason

with some interesting odd version and beautiful bridges & linkings.

.......and Per Nordin has done a tremendous job turning 6 cold digital cameras into something that looks more like a "with a budget" real widescreen celluloid film from the 70s - Last Waltz; Let It Be or that Zeppelin live film .

I'm diggin' it. quite a bit........but yes it is a " official bootleg".

Roine (aka Rex Botanica)"

I seems that this is being released next month. Roine also mentioned, having a chat with Inside Out, when someone asked about a new Flower Kings album, so hopefully that will be in the works soon (or maybe already is).

Personally, I'm jonesin' for something new by Tomas Bodin. With Hasses' new band, plus Karmakanic, Kaipa, Agents Of Mercy, Transatlantic, The Tangent, etc, my TFK fix has been satisfied. I really do believe these guys needed to branch out and work with others in the industry in order to grow as musicians. The one thing I'd love to see, if TFK do indeed reform, is Zoltan Csorsz sitting behind that drum kit. He really spiced up each song with his jazz-style drumming. A new Tangent album would be nice too!

The poor Flower Kings! I'm currently playing Genesis and Big Big Train a lot, almost to the exclusion of all other bands.
Roine needs to do something to remind us all just how great his band is . A NEW ALBUM MIGHT BE IN ORDER! rolleyes

cheesy

You're just being lazy Nov!

Am I?

Yes!!

grin

I just checked this out on Myspace - WOW!!

What a tribute to the boys! It just goes to show the kind of impact they've had in the world of prog. I wonder what Roine thinks?

Been hearing about this for quite some time, but I can't seem to find any more information regarding a release. Has it been finished?

I would love to get this once it's done. A true testament to TFK's influence and staying power. smiley

It would be interesting to know what Roine thinks of it.

Apparently it came out last year. I will hunt it down and let others know if and where it is available.
