The reviews on progarchives.com are very encouraging. A new singer too. Norwegian prog rules, ok?!

I'm hoping the price comes down soon.

Been singing some songs from The Rainmaker (to myself of course!) whilst in work today.
I think that album is currently in my top five TFK albums.
(Though the cover is my least favourite of all TFK albums.)

My brother informed me that District 97 are touring this year with Agents Of Mercy. I'd love to see them. Saw D97 at CalProg last year. They were great!

I just read where Reingold Records has merged with Progrock Records. Jonas says he can reach a wider consumer base this way. By the way, the new Lalle Larsson CD, "Infinity Of Worlds," has been released. Go here for audio samples http://reingoldrecords.se/news.html

I found a great photo of HFMC on Reingold's site too.

Are you talking about Lalle's disc or HFMC's? I already have the HFMC disc, but if you have Lalle's, by all means, kind sir.

Hasse has carved out a nice little niche in the prog biz for a solo career, hasn't he? It must be hard to create a new sound in the progressive rock world. Everyone tries to sound like someone else, and even though you can hear influences throughout HFMC's album, they've managed to sound original. I love this disc! cool

Ned, you've got a few nuggets heading your way as of yesterday afternoon. Should be in your hands within a week or so. wink

Yes, Lalle's new album - hence me putting it in bold but in your excitement you did not see this smiley. It is part of your next package my friend. Thank you in advance for the nuggets coming my way unless they are of the McDonald or KFC type grin

Heard some of Retropolis again on an internet prog radio station yesterday. Hasn't changed my mind on TFK.

You see Mal, comments like this just make all of us in this thread think that you're missing out big time. In fact we know you are. Most of us are Camel fans as well and there's no reason why anyone who enjoys Andy Latimer's playing and compositions would not enjoy at least some of Roine Stolt's.

It's like someone writing Camel off because they once heard "Your Love Is Stranger Than Mine" (or something) on the radio. Imagine that for a minute and that's what you're doing with TFK.

The Flower Kings have almost 18 hours of recorded music and I guarantee that you, as a Camel (and Genesis) fan, would like a reasonable percentage of that if you gave it a chance.

Tell you what, how about I send you a Flower Kings selection especially tailored for a Camel fan? wink

Cheers!

Failing that, you could always tie him down to a chair, don your Gestapo uniform and shine a big bright light in his face. I am sure that after a few hours he will be reciting the entire lyrics to 'The Truth will set you free' grin I will work on him from this side of the border and I am sure he will get to hear the best stuff mate.
