Does anyone have a copy of this? Is the recording quality good? Apparently it contains previously unreleased and live tracks. Being that there is just under 1 hour of music on this puppy, it would be deemed a mini-LP by Flower Kings standards.

TRACK LIST
Previously unreleased recordings 'Kite' (7:33) & 'Buffalo Man' (5:50)
A pre-production version of 'Garden Of Dreams, Part 1' (7:35)
A re-recording of 'The Flower King' (11:45)
Live versions of 'Piece Of Nizzimo' (6:30) & 'Duke Of Nuke' (5:40), both recorded on April 5th, 1996.

Dave,
A kind colleague off the 'official' forum sent me the tracks off this album, with the exception of 'The Flower King', which I have anyway.
The quality is very good - what else do you expect from these fellas? - and the music is good and interesting.
'Kite' and 'Buffalo Man' are both good songs, imo, whilst the live tracks, 'Piece Of Nizzimo' and 'Duke Of Nuke' are typical live improvisations. Not to everyone's taste, but I like them. 'Garden Of Dreams Pt 1' is a little different, but instantly recognisable. Certainly decent, imo.
I would say it's well worth getting hold of, if you can.

Nice to see Mr Radiohead turning a little Swedish for a while... grin

Maybe you should be called: Mr Universal.

Flower Power - what can I say?
Stunning, superb, tremendous, brilliant, humorous, intense; overwhelming in places.
'Nuff said. wink

At the Neal Morse gig last night, I asked the concert promoter if he knew of any plans for Neal to do another project with Transatlantic, and paraphrasing him, he said something along the lines of, "All I can say is that there is a strong possibility at this point. They all enjoy working together." We can only hope grin

That's something to look forward to!
I suspect it would be sometime next year, if it does indeed come off.
Worth the wait though. Definitely. cheesy

I wonder where our 'regular' contributors have gone lately? Nov, COT, Fraser, Nikki; 'oh, wherefore art thou, mein fronds?'

Don't leave me here, all alone again, amongst the tumbleweeds and mongoose droppings....

Tomas! Roine! Come gentlemen, let's go down to the pub and discuss our next move...leave Jonas and Hasse here to watch for foreign intruders. We don't want 'their sort' around these parts, do we lads? shocked
Avast me hearties! Splice the rhyming couplets and brace yourself for inclement Freuds!

Er..time for my tablet, methinks...

grin

Hi Carl, I am seriously thinking about seeing then in Trondeim, Norway next month should the MMEB gigs get cancelled. Depends on changing flights because Gazpacho are playing Norway a week beforehand and this will change my start of holiday date cool
