The Flower Kings ~ Flower Power.

Oh yes this is just brilliant to come back to.... cool Soon be up to "Shadowland" which is one of my favourite tracks by the band. The way it blends into "The Final Deal" is also superb!

That's funny, I'm diving head first into Polish prog today with my first listen to Quidam's "Alone Together" and "Surevival." They're absolutely fantastic! Thanks Colin! cheesy

Oh.........I've also had both discs of "Stardust We Are" spinning as well grin

Nice to see the magnificent Flower Power getting a mention. Not that Stardust We Are or Space Revolver are in any way shoddy of course!
Haven't played much Flower Kings music lately, but I know when I do it will hit me right between the...eyes, in the most wonderful way.
Swedish prog, Polish prog, German prog - poor English prog is slipping well down the league table. (But we English are very good at slipping down league tables, whether it's music, sport or politics!)
Oh yes, and Norwegian prog too. Nicely represented by the likes of Magic Pie, Airbag and Gazpacho. How could I forget them? shocked grin

Spot on. It's just how I feel.

I could do with a new album from Pendragon or Arena. That would be nice. smiley

Well Nick Barrett did say there wouldn't be such a long wait for the next Pendragon album, so maybe he's working on it this very moment.
Then again, it's still probably a year or so off.
They're not exactly prolific, are they? undecided

Talking of prolific, (to myself, judging by the lack of replies to my last post!) I wonder if the next TFK album will be a double? One never knows with them, though I suspect it will be a single this time, with a double to follow in the next year or so.
Maybe its time they did a triple for the first time! grin

Geez Louise! Check out what "Space Revolver" and "The Rainmaker" are going for on this website. With the exchange rate, you Brits should really make out on this deal.

I've just replied to this over on t'other forum.
The prices are a real bargain - £3 each from our point of view, yet totally useless to those of us who already have the buggers!
And the short write-ups for the two albums are woefully inaccurate. I Am The Sun on The Rainmaker? I don't think so!
Jazz fusion on Space Revolver? Must have been listening to Unfold The Future at the time, and got the two muddled up, as you do. undecided

Me too, but I think we're going to carry on here, whilst keeping the other forum in reserve for any more 'emergencies' that may crop up.

At least we know where to meet up if this one suddenly disappears again. wink
