OMG! Went to see The Tangent last night at Camden cool
With Jonas and Jaime Salazar on bass and drums respectively of course grin
It was brilliant!
Thanks Carl for encouraging my interest in this lot kiss
Only got one album ( A Place In The Queue ) and some other bits and pieces, but that was enough to make me want to see them.

Going to do a more in depth thing in the actual thread about this gig, but enough for all my TFK pals to know that i have officially snogged Jonas shocked grin
Well ......... er .......... ok ........... it was just a peck on the cheek but it's like a give away goal in footie isn't it? They all count wink laugh laugh laugh
Spoke to him after the gig, said how much i'd enjoyed it ( the gig! Jeez rolleyes ) and he said how pleasing it was to see a lady at the gig grin
I of course thought when he said lady, he must have been referring to someone stood behind me so didn't reply at first laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh wink
Just kidding, he was just making the point that it's nice to see women at the gigs smiley
I tried not to swoon too much rolleyes wink and thought 'What would the boys want me to ask?'. So went straight for the jugular, in true ITU sister style, with ' I really enjoyed your gig in London last year, when will TFK be back in the UK?'
To which he replied that they were having a break from Europe this year, except for a couple of things, but soon hopefully grin

Oh yeah, the gig wink from a TFK point of view, Jaime Salazar did a wicked job in the drumming department, and Jonas did a really cool bass solo thing at the end grin
That guy is coolness personified i think cool

Yep!! 200 pages cool Wow grin
Most of it's been about TFK too laugh laugh laugh laugh
Well with the odd diversion into the 'world of adventures' ( now you liked that didn't you? ), mainly Carls womens clothing fetish, football, my nursing talents undecided and Scarlet Johanssen, thank you Nov rolleyes, we've kept it on topic pretty much! laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Would you recommend seeing them then Nikki? grin

Sounds like you had a great time. You chose a good question to ask Jonas. You thought quickly on your feet too. When you get a chance like that, the chances are you won't be able to think of anything important, and then the moment will have gone. You did well there, my girl.

Unlike most of us, Carl, Jaime has two sticks shocked so Nikkie had twice the opportunity. Something tells me she came shocked............up empty handed.

Bully for Jaime. tongue

I bet I've got a bigger drum head though.
(I used to have a nice pair of maracas too, until my wife crushed one of them. That's why we threw her out of the band!)
