So, I'm sat here with a cup of tea having a last little look wink

Oops - alarms are literally just going off all around the house as I type so it's time to grab the bags and kids and get going.......

Have fun guys - have a great holiday yourself Nikki wink

Get the beer and the nibbles out? Turn the music up? Good god girl, what sort of man do you think I am? One who hangs round parties, drinking and eating and, well, partying?
How right you are! Anyway, it's your turn to cart some crates in and have an Iceland delivery delivered. As for the music, I've invited a 'new' band to entertain us:

Alex Lifeson - guitar
Hasse Froberg - vocals
Phil Collins - drums
Chris Squire - bass
Tony Banks - keyboards

Don't know what you think of that, but I think that line-up sounds alright on paper. It shows promise anyway.
Now, put your tongue away, pop your eyes back in their sockets, change your underwear, and get down to the shops, immediately! grin

Indeed Fraser, it is quiet in here. I've been on a bit of a Polish trip myself lately.
Haven't forgotten our fave Swedish band though.
I expect our favourite Nurse will pop in soon, check our temperatures, feel our pulses and hold our personal effects in her hand until we agree to let her do all the talking again!
I know I've mentioned it before, but I really do hope TFK release a dvd this year. I will certainly be buying it!
I also hope that, when they release the 'official live bootleg', they decide to sell it through GFT. I asked Malcolm there if he was going to be stocking it, but he said Roine hadn't decided what outlets to use yet.
I don't like paypal, so hope I can get a copy without having to resort to the website. undecided

Hope you enjoy/enjoyed the concert, chuck. Funnily enough, I'm playing Beardfish for the first time as I type this. The wonderful Ned sent me a copy, and I have to say, I'm impressed. Are they art rock? Prog? Pop rock? NO, I would say they are in a new category - Quirky rock! Believe it or not they remind me, just occasionally, of 10cc when it comes to the vocals and the arrangements in parts of some songs. And that's meant as a compliment.
Do let's know what they are like live, won't you dear?
I already know and love The Tangent and Ritual.
I hope you did say hello to Jonas and Jamie for me, and to Andy Tillison and Patrik Lundstrom as well. All good friends of mine, of course, we go way back....
(Time to go methinks.) grin

I'd trust you with my privates any day - if you were a sergeant major of course! (Now now, where was your mind going then?)

As for talking, don't try passing the buck now, we all know you can talk the hind whatsit off a donkey, so don't give us that nonsense. And you're Welsh...I've never known a quiet one!
Now, I must go and check my air raid shelter is in place so I can nip down there and hide before the wrath of the wraith from the valleys descends on me in a totally unprovoked and vicious attack. shocked
