Going to have quite a TFK frenzy this weekend, I can tell.
I'm purposefully avoiding them for now, playing other stuff, and building up the suspense until Saturday.
Think I will start with Flower Power, or some such nonsense.
Will invite Hasse round for a listening session with me, and a couple of Magners maybe...and avoid letting the Welsh Wonder know, or she will be booking a coach or train to rush down and see us! grin

Well, although I'm avoiding TFK until the weekend, I couldn't resist playing Hydrophonia earlier. wink
A class album, and I'm still discovering different things in the music each time I listen to it.
Stolt has a lot to answer for... grin

Well, actually... embarassed

I did dress up as a woman at a fancy dress party at the end of last September. Bought the clothes myself, and the boots, handbag and wig.
At first, my wife was enthusiastic, but then I think she got a bit worried.... grin

(Still got the outfit too!)

Er..well... there are a couple of parties coming up this year, so if any of them are fancy dress, I may don the outfit again.
Anyway, I could go as a rock drummer, or guitarist, with the wig on, (it's a long 'un), t-shirt and jeans. Very Spinal Tappish! grin

That is a wonderful album indeed Lesley.
I have looked at the ratings for the studio albums on ProgArchives.com and they (the reviewers, with a weighted bias to the regular collaborators) have come up with the following list of greatness. smiley Marks out of 5.

1. Unfold The Future 3.96
2=. Stardust We Are 3,92
2=. Back In The World Of Adventures 3.92
4. The Sum Of No Evil 3.83
5. Space Revolver 3.82
6. Retropolis 3.73
7. Flower Power 3.67
8. Paradox Hotel 3.62
9. The Rainmaker 3.46
10. Adam and Eve 3.40
11. The Rainmaker 2.76

So you see, the range is very small indeed, barring perhaps The Rainmaker. The amount of reviews is very consistent as well, so they can be considered to be a representitive sample.

I think the results demonstrate why we all have different favourites and that the quality of the music is very consistent indeed smiley

Why is The Rainmaker down twice?

Just about to play Retropolis again. Well, the first listen was excellent. I just know it's going to grow even more, Colin!
