I was thinking today. (Dangerous, I know!)
One thing I really would like to see in the future is a Roine Stolt autobiography. Of course, I doubt it will ever happen, but what an interesting read it would be!
We could find out so much about the man, about his other interests, such as painting, about his upbringing and way of life, plus, of course, about his music, from the early days with Kaipa, through his solo period, to the formation of TFK and his numerous side projects to boot!
Would anyone else find this interesting?
A nice hardback, signed by the man himself; how appealing! cheesy

A biography on Roine Assar Stolt, born September 5, 1956 would be the read of the year for me.

I was recently traipsing through some Roine interviews on progressiveworld.net, and the man's got a lot to say. There's so much more that he wants to do musically; ie, be a member of Genesis (only kidding, he says), and he talks in depth about recording with Transatlantic, who contributed what to the albums, and even talks about TFK's 'upcoming' album tentatively titled "Space Revolver."

There are interviews from 2000, 2002 and 2004. You'll learn a lot about the mysterious man we know endearingly as The Flower King. Great reading. Dig in! http://www.progressiveworld.net/trans_roineinterv.html

Hi Gooner.
Was the mail order place GFT-Cyclops? Malcolm Parker by any chance?
http://www.gft-cyclops.co.uk/gft/gftframe.html
I've just looked online, but they don't appear to have any FK dvds in at the moment.

You're in for a treat gooner, a real treat!

Been playing 'The Road Back Home' a couple more times.
It's amazing, to me anyway, just how good this band is...even though I'm preaching to the converted here...I think of all the other bands I rate highly, and TFK tend to just walk all over most of them, and that's not knocking the other bands at all. TFK are just so bloody good! cheesy

And on that note, it's bedtime for me. Goodnight all!
