That reminds me, I think I'll play Bodin's "I AM" tomorrow morning. It's not his best, but it has some wonderful moments.

I will eventually get round to buying all Bodin's solo work. As usual, lack of funds prohibits me getting too much at once.
But there is plenty of time. Currently trying to get my Porcupine Tree catalogue up to scratch. Still three albums to get. shocked

Lightbulb Sun(reissue) should be out by May at the latest! Some mysterious PT release (prob a live album) out in Feb.

Yay!

And now back to the Flower Kings.

Saw the band at Symforce last September and have their entire back catalogue plus most of the solo stuff (think I am only missing the solo Jonas R album)

Superb band.

Oh yes, loved it as Riverside, Pendragon, Pineapple Thief, Focus and of course the FKs - what a journey. Planning to go to Symforce II this year and just waiting on dates and, of course, the band list. I think we might see Sylvan and/or RPWL there. Would love it if IQ were headlining.

Hi Ned! Have posted a welcome to you elsewhere!

You have great taste, I have to say. I love RPWL, who are working on a new album right now, I believe, and Pendragon, and have yet to discover, though I suspect I'll like, Riverside!
TFK are really top notch though, aren't they? Glad to hear you're another fan of theirs.
Hope you become a regular contributor here.... cheesy

Understatment of the year my friend - Riverside are awesome and you need to hear their albums. Polish prog just gets better and better and these guys are at the top in my view.

Amazing, coz Roine was only, like, 9 or 10 at that time. What a child prodigy on the guitar!!

grin

Now he's in his early 50s, looks 15 years younger, lean and fit, tanned, extremely talented and very content.........

.......sickening isn't it? grin
